5/06/2008 - Season Review

The season has had its ups and downs this season. A great start to the league campaign worked against Dundonald with senior football clubs fighting to sign Bluebell star players. Martin Grehan moved to Motherwell FC making his first team debut in January away to St Mirren. Mark Ramsay and Paul McQuade moved to Cowdenbeath with Paul finishing 2nd top goalscorer and Mark picking up the young player off the year award with cowdenbeath. Losing these key players and with major injury's it was inevitable that the team dropped there performances. However results started to pick back up and Dundonald managed to get out there slump picking up valuable wins against Kinnoull, Musselburgh,Rosyth to consolidate there position in the East Region Premier League. Having already lost important players to the seniors next on the move was Manager Grant Brough moving onto Cowdenbeath FC at the tail end of the season. Local Lad Craig Duncan has successes Grant and the committee have high hopes for the new season under his leadership. Dundonald Legend Gordon Hunter has already returned to the club as Assistant Manager.Richard Milne, John Ferguson and Stephen Clark have all been placed on the transfer list any interested parties should contact Drew Davidson on 01592 721135
